"Ossium", latin for "bones" have been used as Memento Mori since the ancient Rome and Greece, when people would carry tokens and depictions of skulls and bones as a reminder of their mortality and that life is precious. "Memento Mori" literally means "remember you must die" which, to be honest, is so straight-to-the-point that I really respect it.
This little bone is about 3.5cm long and is cast in solid recycled silver to remind you that life is precious. Here for a good time, not a long time and all that!
Listed as a pendant only or with my recommended chain - a thin 18" belcher. For different chain options select "Pendant Only" and add a chain of your choice from this listing.
This bone is also available as dangly earrings! There is also a larger bone necklace available here.
No animals were hurt to create this jewellery, I found the bone in a decomposed pile of unknown animal origin (possibly rabbit) at Alderley Edge, UK.
