This exquisite Jackdaw talon has been cast in solid silver from a real Jackdaw claw, this means the final creation doesn't have any actual bird-parts in it.
It has been carefully oxidised and polished to show all of the natural texture and details of the beautiful birds foot.
An ornate cuff is around the leg to create the regal setting, complete with piece of cast silver twig bail for the necklace to hang from.
7 cm long.
Photographed on a "trace" chain, sold separately. Chains bought with a pendant are automatically 10% off with no code needed. I recommend a thick, 22" belcher which you can find in this listing.
No animals were hurt to create this necklace, the claw was a found specimen.

Campfire & Compass' stall immediately stood out to me at the Midsommar Market. Their pieces are unusual and the attention to detail is fantastic - I love the tiny crown on the bale! The texture of the talon is as meticulously crafted on the underside of the pendant as on the upper surfaces. Some serious perfectionism has gone into this glorious little claw! I wore it straight away, as soon as I bought it. It's been much admired and I always make a point of telling anyone who looks at it where I got it from. Highly recommended.
The talon is captured in such exquisite detail I initially worried it might be fragile. Turns out not only is this piece beautiful but deceptively sturdy. Can't recommend highly enough!
I'm absolutely blown away by the detail of this piece. It's beautifully made and the workmanship is exceptional. Every scale and mark on the claw is captured; incredible. It arrived quickly and beautifully packaged. 100% recommend. Also the claws are pretty sharp so it's handy for opening parcels!!!
