Name Change!

From 1st May 2026 Campfire & Compass Jewellery will be known as Wilde Folk Jewellery.

Only the name is changing, my logo and everything else is very personal to me and won't change!

Campfire & Compass Jewellery was named 10 years ago as a side project when I was a very different person than I am now. Much of my jewellery style remains the same but I just don't feel like the name "fits" anymore, y'know? I still have a lot of love for it but it's time to move forward.

Why "Wilde Folk"? 

Well, my surname is Wilde and whilst my designs and influences are wild in nature, they're also heavily inspired by folklore. As I continue to learn on folkloric, mystical and occult elements, I really wanted my name to capture that and I think Wilde Folk does that nicely - I hope you do too!

I also really love that the "Folk", borrowed from folklore, can also be interpreted as people - like it's jewellery by and for wild people who sit outside of the norm somehow. I've always been one of the weirdos, after all!

I still have a lot of branded jewellery boxes and flyers with the old name on. I don't like waste so I won't be throwing them away, I'll just be using them up until they're gone and replacing them with the new ones when it's time to re-print. This will take a bit of a while so you're likely to receive some mixed branding in your orders for a little bit and I appreciate your patience!

The old website will stay up for about a year, to catch the strays who don't happen to see the announcements, and it will be a simple redirect to the new website.

This is an exciting new step for me that I'm really looking forward to! Thanks for being with me along the way <3
