Carnelian Bramble Leaf Pendant

This fiery, lightly banded carnelian teardrop is bezel set in shiny sterling silver above a highly detailed bramble leaf made of solid fine silver.

All of the silver has been oxidised black and polished back to a high shine, leaving all the tiny details and crevices leaf dark so you can see the natural textures.

Carnelian is a form of chalcedony that formed in the presence of iron oxide, which is where it gets its rich, rusty, orange hue.  It is believed to be a stone for courage, building confidence and inner power.
