Labradorite Ivy Leaf Pendant

This ivy leaf has been made by painting layer upon layer of .999 fine silver clay onto a real ivy leaf and gently firing it until the leaf and all the binder has burned away leaving a pure silver leaf.

All of the silver has been oxidised black and polished back to a high shine, leaving all the tiny details and crevices leaf dark so you can see the natural textures.

A little labradorite hangs below the leaf like a raindrop, shimmering bluey-green. There's even a flash of purple in there at the right angle! Ancient healers regard labradorite as a healing stone to aid difficult times of transition and change, giving strength and balance. It is also used for inspiration and to encourage creativity and new ideas.
